The Story
Everlasting Life Ministries has been conducting ministry locally and internationally for nearly 5 decades. In 2025, a political shift granted the opportunity to assist the people of Syria who have been ravaged by over more than a decade of civil war. Pastor Gus Al-Khal , out of the abundance of his heart and at the direction of the Holy Spirit, purchased two plots of land in his home country with the intent of meeting the medical needs of the Syrian people. Situated in the Wadi Al-Nasara region of Syria, the medical center, when finished, will service close to 100,000 citizens of all faiths with desperately needed medical support.
Syria, a previously war torn and heavily impoverished country, is well behind the rest of the world medically. Relying much on outdated medical technology and methods, the Syrian people suffer with many diseases, medical conditions, and ailments that are easily treated and managed by Western medicine. The introduction of a clinic supported and even staffed by medical professionals from the United States in conjunction with local medical personnel, will make a significant difference in the lives of countless Syrians.
The plots of land are only the start of what is sure to be a major shift in medical assistance for the Syrian people. The buildings being built and laid out need your support to be completed and staffed. The medical center will be a place where people can receive medical supplies and medicines as well as vision, dental, and medical support. It will be built, funded and supported by generous and faithful donors like you who donate their time and lend financial support.
